选项分析：
(A)22, was injured three times, and was discharged in 1783 because she had become
【正确】 “was injured three times”和“was discharged in 1783”用“and”平行没有问题。过去完成时的“she had become”表明“become too ill to serve”发生在“was discharged in 1783”之前，表意合理，而“was injured three times”和“was discharged in 1783”虽然平行，但两者并不一定是同时发生的。
